No matter what form of delivery one considers for dental health care, the system requires some manner of management of the personnel. Organization of personnel requires a clinic, hospital or office manual or manuals of sorts. In order to keep things running smoothly and achieve the highest quality care possible, management of personnel is a constant part of the organization. Position descriptions and duties, from working hours to items such as infection control and HIPAA, must all be established and periodically reviewed and updated. The “Toolkit” will attempt to address many of these items from hiring all the way to firing in order to serve as a resource in managing personnel in the oral health care setting.
